Policies
CoffeeTico Services ™ is governed by the policies, terms and conditions set forth below. Please read all applicable sections carefully. By using this site, you agree to all of our Policies and Terms of Use. By sending us your machine for repair, you agree to all of our Policies and Terms. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not send us your equipment or purchase products from us. CoffeeTico Services ™ reserves the right, at any time, to modify, alter or update these Terms of Use without notification and you agree to be bound by such modifications, alterations or updates.
Returns:
For coffee: The item will not be refunded.
For SAECO machines: Returns and exchanges of defective products are only accepted up to thirty (30) days from the date of purchase. SAECO-USA will accept for credit any defective products with
missing parts; however, the account will be charged a flat fee of 20% as a handling charge for all products received with
missing parts. Your original invoice or receipt is required. Products shall not be returned without prior written
authorization from Saeco-USA. Buyer shall bear risk of loss for products returned. Inadequate packaging of returns and failure to follow SAECO-USA's packaging specifications may result in damage to products. Products returned after 30 days of purchase that conform to the invoice and are not defective will not be
accepted for return or exchange. Seller’s remedies for breach shall not be limited by acceptance of returned products.
As distributors of the machine brands of equipment, CoffeeTico Services ™ special orders for you. Therefore, returns will be authorized by our sales department on a case-by-case basis. All authorized returns will be credited the purchase price minus 20% and the actual cost of shipping and handling charges to the customer even if the item was sold with “free shipping” or “shipping included” in the purchase price. The customer is also responsible for return shipping.
For CoffeeTico Services ™ Used/Reconditioned machines: Every machine we sell is thoroughly tested before being sold to buyer. As such, all machines are sold as is and will not be
accepted for return or exchange.
For Parts: As distributors of the machine brands of equipment and parts, CoffeeTico Services ™ special orders for you. Therefore, returns of parts will be authorized by our sales department on a case-by-case basis (electrical parts are non-refundable). All authorized returns will be credited the purchase parts price minus 20%; shipping is non-refundable. The customer is also responsible for return shipping. Returns and exchanges of defective products are only accepted up to thirty (30) days from the date of purchase.
Remedy Limitations:
For SAECO machines: All products claimed to be nonconforming must be shipped to SAECO-USA in Glenwillow, Ohio at
Buyer’s cost. Products shall not be returned without prior written authorization from SAECO-USA. Please contact SAECO USA,
INC. at 1.800.933.7876 to obtain a Return Authorization number. Products are to be shipped to SAECO USA, 7905
Cochran Road, Suite 100, Glenwillow, OH 44139, with the R.A. number clearly labeled on the outside of the box.
Delivery of any merchandise not clearly labeled with a valid R.A. number will be refused. Please allow 3-4 weeks to
process the return. SAECO-USA’s acceptance of any product shipped shall not be deemed an admission that the products are
nonconforming, and, if SAECO-USA finds that any products returned are not defective, such products shall be reshipped to the
Buyer at its expense and Buyer shall be charged for all other chargers incurred by SAECO-USA. For any returns within 30 days of
purchase, if the products are nonconforming, SAECO-USA shall either furnish substitute products or, at the option of Seller, refund
the purchase price to the Buyer. The exercise of either option above shall operate as a release of claims of Buyer for
damages. Buyer expressly waives its rights to consequential or incidental damages in the event the products are found to be
nonconforming. All returns after 30 days of purchase shall be deemed returns for repair under warranty. SAECO USA,
INC. will handle all repairs covered by the warranty and return products free of charge to Buyer.
You are responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning merchandise to us. If a returned item is lost or destroyed in transit, your account will not be credited for the return, and you will be responsible for obtaining reimbursement from the courier. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you purchase insurance from the courier for returned items.
For CoffeeTico Services ™ Used/Reconditioned machines: All returns after purchase shall be deemed returns for repair under our limited warranty. CoffeeTico Services ™ will handle all repairs covered by our warranty. Buyer expressly waives its rights to consequential or incidental damages in the event the products are found to be
nonconforming. The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges to and from our workshop. If buyer is local, he or she is responsible for delivery and pick up of the machine.
Cancellation of an order:
Orders cancelled or refused after they've shipped will be treated as returns.
Defective Merchandise:
For SAECO machines: Any merchandise found to be defective within 30 days of purchase may be returned for replacement. Please read section under "Remedy Limitations".
Merchandise that becomes defective after 30 days is subject to the manufacturer’s warranty.
For CoffeeTico Services ™ usedUsed/Reconditioned machines: Machines are sold as is and are subject to our limited warantee.
Machine Warranties:
All new SAECO and Solis machines come with a one year manufacturer warranty on parts and labor. New Gaggia machines come with a two year manufacturer warranty on parts and labor. Refurbished SAECO machines come with a six month SAECO warranty on parts and labor. Used/Reconditioned machines come with a three month warranty from CoffeeTico Services ™ .
Improper use of the machine can result in the loss of your warranty coverage. Warranties are voided for machine that leaves the United States.
For CoffeeTico Services ™ Used/Reconditioned machines: Used/Reconditioned machines come with a three (3) month warranty from CoffeeTico Services ™ .
Improper use of the machine can result in the loss of your warranty coverage. Warranties are voided for machine that leave the United States. Machine
issues due to shipping damages, normal wear and tear, or damage due to misuse, negligence, lack of or improper cleaning, hard water and/or electrical surges are not covered under this warranty.
The customer is responsible for all shipping charges to and from our workshop. If a customer is local, he or she is responsible for delivery and pick up of the machine.
Parts Warranties:
All parts purchased from SAECO USA, INC. will be warranted for 30 days from date of
purchase. Used parts are not warranted.
Repair Warranties:
All products repaired by SAECO USA, INC. under Service Labor shall be warranted on parts
and labor for 90 days from date of repair. This warranty will only be valid for the specific repair carried out by SAECO
USA, INC. Please contact SAECO USA, INC. at 1.800.933.7876 to obtain a Return Authorization number or detailed
information on a Service Center in your area.
Repair Services performed by CoffeeTico Services ™ are warranted for 30 days. This warranty applies to CoffeeTico Services ™ work and does not cover unit failures caused by defective parts or materials supplied by SAECO USA. If any used parts were used, used parts are not warranted and related service fees are non-refundable. Every machine we repair is thoroughly tested before being returned to the customer. Post-repair issues due to shipping damages, normal wear and tear, or damage due to misuse, negligence, lack of or improper cleaning, hard water and/or electrical surges are not covered under this repair warranty. If machine is returned to us under a claim of faulty repair and the problems are due to one of the previously mentioned clauses, the customer will be charged a minimum of one hour diagnostic labor which does not include any costs of repairing said damage. CoffeeTico Services ™ does not offer refunds whatsoever for any repair parts or repair labor. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges to and from our workshop. If a customer is local, he or she is responsible for delivery and pick up of the machine. Customer agrees that CoffeeTico Services ™ is the final arbiter on all repair claims.
Machine Service:
CoffeeTico Services ™ will perform FREE machine diagnostic to
identify component failure. Prior to commencing any repair and/or cleaning
service, CoffeeTico Services ™ will provide an estimate of repair work
(FREE). CoffeeTico Services™ will not begin any repair and/or cleaning work
until obtaining approval from customer.
Once diagnostic repair quote is provided to customer, customer has 7 days to approve work and/or pick up (or arrange for return shipment of) the machine. Any machine left in CoffeeTico Services™ 's posession for more than 30 days from diagnostic quote date will be deemed abandoned unless prior arrangement has been made with and agreed to in writing by CoffeeTico Services™. By consigning machine to CoffeeTico Services™, repair customers authorize CoffeeTico Services™ to recover storage costs on abandoned machine by any means necessary, including sale of said machine to a third party.
Machine Pick-up and/or shipping back to customer: Once machine service repair or cleaning is complete, CoffeeTico Services ™ will contact customer to arrange for pick-up and confirm invoice. The customer has 7 days to pick up and/or arrange for machine to be shipped back. Any machine left in CoffeeTico Services ™'s posession for more than 30 days from invoice date will be deemed abandoned unless prior arrangement has been made with and agreed to in writing by CoffeeTico Services ™. By consigning machine to CoffeeTico Services ™, repair customers authorize CoffeeTico Services ™ to recover repair and storage costs on abandoned machine by any means necessary, including sale of said machine to a third party.
Sales Tax:
We do not collect sales tax on items purchased at CoffeeTico Services™.
Prices:
Prices are subject to change without notice.
Limited Liability:
CoffeeTico Services ™ will not be responsible for any anticipated or lost profits,
incidental damages, consequential damages, time charges,
or any other losses incurred in connection with the purchase,
installation, replacement, or repair of machines
or any parts.
CoffeeTico Services ™ will not be liable for any direct or indirect, special, punitive, incidental, exemplary or consequential damages of any kind, including injury, death, dismemberment, psychological damages, or loss of revenue whether based upon warranty, contract or negligence deriving from the connection with the sale, use or repair of the part(s), accessory(ies), equipment or other products sold by or purchased from CoffeeTico Services ™.
CoffeeTico Services ™ will not be liable for use or misuse of the correct or incorrect information from service, including and not limited to technical support, customer service, manuals, cleaning instructions, or any other services provided by CoffeeTico Services ™ or delay of such information or service. These limitations will apply notwithstanding to any failure of essential purpose of any limited remedy. Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, the above limitations may not apply to you. In such jurisdictions, CoffeeTico Services ™ liability is limited to the greatest permitted by law. |
